Heron Lakes-Great Blue Course (Portland, OR)
OverviewThe Great Blue's signature hole offers a split fairway around a pond to a sloping green with many tiers. Bunkers surround the green. Pro Play TipsA tee shot up the right is easier as the fairway is much larger, but requires a longer approach shot over water. A tee shot to the left fairway assumes the risk on the first shot, and leaves a simple approach from 100 yards or less. This is a hole where a player needs to pick his poison and decide whether to take risk on their drive or their approach shot. * Suggestions for play are based on the back tee. |
