| A great short par-4. You can make
an easy 3, or a painful 6 that will have you kicking yourself. Do
not forget to peek into the periscope on the tee to make sure the
fairway is clear of players before you proceed, because you cannot
see the bottom of the hill. Conservative players can have a good
chance at birdie by hitting their 200-210 yard club on a line just
to the right of the giant stump at the opposite side of the fairway.
This will leave you a wedge shot from a level lie and a good angle
into the green. Aggressive, long drivers can take a shot at birdie
or better by hitting a very long, high, right to left shot around
the large cedar and fir trees at the left side of the bottom of
the hill - but be aware that you are skirting OB left, and a straight
shot through the fairway can be blocked by trees or go OB. Enjoy
the view of Ludlow Bay and Mt. Baker on the way downhill to your
second shot. |
